General Admission Requirements

Admission: Our admissions process focuses on selecting adult learners who can benefit from a distance-learning approach and who are most likely to make significant contributions to their classes and their professions. To offer a consistent, high-quality student experience, our bachelor’s program is designed for students who are at least 24 years old. Applicants who are active in the military or who have successfully earned 90 quarter college credits may be eligible for admission. Additional exceptions may apply as each admission decision is based on a careful, holistic review of an applicant’s academic background and professional experience.

Admission requirements for Walden University vary by program but generally include the following:

Doctoral Programs
  • Master’s degree (some programs allow entry with a bachelor’s degree)
